A LITTLE SELF-INDULGENT JOURNEY

Over the course of my career, I’ve found myself amidst a lot of firsts. First kid in my Jewish Day School to sign (well, nearly sign) a professional sports contract. I was on the 4-man startup team of the world’s first e-commerce platform for oil (that’s right, crude, refined, jet - not the massage stuff). I was one of the first Americans in an all Israeli defense company, helping create an effective presence in DC.

First to create a non-traditional marketing group at storied Atlanta agency WestWayne (now 22squared). (Probably the) first to turn down an amazing offer from Goodby for one at Ogilvy, where I was the first to move from strategy to creative mid-pitch. Then became the first creative partner at indie shop, Night Agency.

I couldn’t resist the opportunity for industry disruption, and joined Deloitte becoming the first to build a creative consultancy. In two years we went from a WeWork closet to 100+ people across multiple offices, winning over 90% of our AOR pitches (yup, seriously).

And then, probably the first person dumb enough to leave a high-paid job to build yet another new model agency. Tech-based production-meets-agency-meets-incubator. All the work, none of the Caveats.
